About the game:
Gloom is a darkly humorous storytelling card game played with transparent cards. Players try to make their own family of misfits as miserable as possible before killing them off — while simultaneously cheering up their opponents' families to prevent them from scoring. The transparent card mechanic is brilliant: cards are layered on top of characters, showing only the visible symbols, so the order of play matters greatly. Players are encouraged to narrate elaborate tales of woe, making every game a unique and comedic gothic story.
