About the game
In Pandemic, players form an elite disease-control team racing to contain four deadly diseases spreading across the globe. Travel between major world cities, treat infection hotspots, share critical information, establish research stations, and discover cures before outbreaks overwhelm the world.

Every player has a unique specialist role with a powerful ability that supports the team in a different way. The Medic is especially effective at treating disease, the Scientist needs fewer matching city cards to discover a cure, the Operations Expert can establish research stations more easily, and other specialists improve movement, prevention, or emergency planning.

On each turn, a player takes up to four actions, then draws Player cards and infects cities. The Player deck contains dangerous Epidemic! cards that increase the infection rate, infect new cities heavily, and intensify future disease draws. If a city becomes too infected, it triggers an outbreak that spreads disease into neighboring cities and can create devastating chain reactions.

The team wins immediately by discovering cures for all four diseases. Everyone loses if eight outbreaks occur, a disease-cube supply runs out, or the Player deck is exhausted. Pandemic is a tense cooperative strategy game built around communication, teamwork, role coordination, hand management, and crisis planning.
