About the game
In Potion Explosion, players are wizarding students taking their final potions exam. Collect colorful ingredient marbles from a magical dispenser, trigger chain reactions, brew valuable potions, and use their magical powers to earn the title of Student of the Year.

On your turn, take one ingredient marble from the dispenser. As the remaining marbles roll downward, matching colors may collide and explode, allowing you to collect them as well. A single pick can create an exciting chain reaction, giving you the ingredients needed to fill several potion recipes at once.

Each potion tile requires a specific combination of colored marbles. Complete a potion by filling every matching slot on its recipe, then move it to your completed-potion area to score its points. You may also drink a completed potion to activate its special magical effect, such as collecting extra ingredients or treating a marble as a different color.

Earn Skill tokens by completing three potions with the same power or five potions with five different powers. Once the required number of Skill tokens has been awarded, the end of the game is triggered. Add the value of your completed potions and Skill tokens, subtract any Little Help penalties, and the player with the highest score wins.
