About the game:
Root is a game of woodland might and right — an asymmetric strategy war game where up to four factions compete for control of a vast forest. Each faction plays by completely different rules and pursues a different victory path: the Marquise de Cat industrializes the woodland, the Eyrie Dynasties cling to a crumbling decree, the Woodland Alliance stirs an underground revolution, and the Vagabond adventures solo through the trees. The clash between these radically different play styles creates one of the most layered, replayable, and deeply strategic experiences in modern board gaming.
