About the game
In Santorini, players compete to build a dazzling island city inspired by ancient Greece. Move your builders across a 5×5 grid, construct towers one level at a time, block key spaces with domes, and be the first to climb onto the third level of a building.

Every turn follows two simple steps:

Move one builder to an adjacent space. Builders may move across the same level, climb up one level, or descend any number of levels.

Build one level of a tower in an adjacent unoccupied space. Once a tower has three levels, build a dome to close that space permanently.

The straightforward objective creates a deep tactical duel. Every block you add changes your possible routes and your opponent’s, so players must build paths for themselves while preventing rivals from reaching the winning height. If a player cannot make both a legal move and build action, they lose.

For added variety, players use God Power cards that change the basic rules. Gods and heroes may grant alternative win conditions, special building powers, unusual movement, the ability to swap positions, or ways to disrupt opponents. These asymmetric powers make each matchup feel different while keeping the core rules fast and approachable.

Santorini is an elegant abstract strategy game of spatial planning, tactical blocking, variable powers, and memorable three-dimensional tower building.
