About the game
In UNDO: Blood in the Gutter, players become Weavers of Fate—supernatural time travelers who must alter the past to prevent a tragic death. In Chicago in October 1929, a young man lies dead in a dark alley, his body marked by gunshot wounds. To give him another chance at life, the team must investigate the events, relationships, losses, and choices that brought him to that final moment.

Players travel to pivotal moments throughout the victim’s life, revealing story cards and piecing together an emotional narrative centered on poverty, grief, love, and family. Each visit provides new information and presents a decision: intervene in the past, choose how to influence an event, and accept that even well-intended actions may lead to unexpected consequences.

The group has a limited number of time jumps, so it must decide which moments are most important to explore. Use clues carefully, discuss the possible effects of each intervention, and shape a different path through the victim’s story. At the end of the case, the fate cards reveal whether your collective decisions were enough to avert his death.

UNDO: Blood in the Gutter is a cooperative narrative mystery game of time travel, emotional storytelling, deduction, and consequential choices.
