About the game
In Wavelength, two teams compete to read each other’s minds. One player—the Psychic—knows the location of a hidden target on a spectrum between two opposing ideas, such as Hot–Cold, Fantasy–Sci-Fi, or Sad Song–Happy Song. The Psychic gives a single clue that should land conceptually where the target lies, then their teammates debate where to place the dial.

For example, if the spectrum is Hot–Cold and the bullseye sits slightly toward cold, the Psychic might say “salad.” The team must interpret what that clue means, decide how far toward cold it belongs, and rotate the dial accordingly.

The closer the team’s pointer is to the target’s center, the more points they earn. The opposing team also participates by predicting whether the active team has placed its dial to the left or right of the hidden bullseye. This gives both teams a reason to stay engaged on every turn.

The first team to reach 10 points wins. Wavelength is a highly social party game built around creative clues, conversation, perspective-taking, debate, and those satisfying moments when your teammates understand exactly what you meant.
